Frequently Asked Questions

I have tried therapy. How are therapy and coaching different?

Therapy tends to focus heavily on processing your past. Coaching focuses on what is going on in the present and what you want your future to look like. So, it is much more goal-oriented.  

However, sometimes you have to go back (e.g. to understand how your past shaped you) to move forward. So there might be times in our work where we briefly touch on the past — but as a springboard to help you reach your goals and create the FUTURE life you want to live.

If you need to deeply process the past then I will refer you to a therapist.

How do I know if you can help me?

I know that this is a big decision and you want to make sure you choose the right coach, the one you know can help you. The best way to do that is to set up a free consultation with me. How do I find the time in my already busy schedule?

I know your time is valuable and you are very busy.  Therefore, I always meet my clients where they are. We will meet three times per month, giving you one or two weeks to implement and integrate our work together. Also, my recommendations are always manageable and at your discretion.  My clients look very forward to our calls because those in themselves are transformative.
