Hey There, I’m Nichole!

LPC, MA, MBA, 300 HR Yoga Therapist

Licensed Professional Counselor,
Ayurvedic Wellness Coach, Certified Brainspotting Practitioner, and Safe and Sound Protocol Therapist

My mind was constantly spinning with 10,000 things that needed to be done. Everything I did came from a place of fear and self-criticism, leaving me stuck in survival mode. I was filled with insomnia, anxiety, and intense adrenal fatigue. As a constant seeker, I was on my own journey of healing. I tried everything – Talk Therapy, Ayurveda, Brainspotting, Homeopathy, Yoga, and many different modalities.

Aside from all of my “certifications,” I know how painful it is to struggle with self-criticism, anxiety, perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and the daily stress of juggling life as a mother of two, business owner, and wife.

Despite all my best efforts to succeed (obtaining two degrees, launching my own practice as a Mental Health Therapist, and being a loving and involved mother and wife), inside, I never felt good enough.

All of these things helped. Yet what became apparent was that it was up to me to take radical responsibility for my healing. No one else could get inside my brain and body and do the things that needed to be done to help me feel calm, safe and loved. I learned how to manage my mind, feel my emotions, and how to support my body through the various healing modalities, I learned the importance of rest and self-kindness and how to be curious and present with what is happening in my life. But best of all, I learned how to stop and listen to what I really needed.

I now help my clients find relief from anxiety and take better care of themselves to find calm and peace of mind.

My sweet little home office:

I am a client-centered, heart-centered mental health counselor for adult women across the lifespan. I follow your lead while using love and humility. I believe you have everything within you to heal; you just need to uncover it. I add that to a mind-body-spirit lens, nervous system regulation, a bit of education, and humor when working with my clients. Above all, you are really here to evolve, find joy, and improve your relationship with yourself. Doing so will improve all of your relationships. You learn how to feel those difficult emotions, practice self-compassion, be aware of your mind, and unravel the unconscious patterns that keep you stuck in your current state. From this place, you tap into your inner calm, and life starts to feel so much better.

When I am not seeing clients….

I am happily an introverted homebody and mom of two amazing teens and one puppy, Raj, my 4 year-old, fourteen pound GoldenDoodle (yeah, I am slightly obsessed). I think clients come to my home office just so they get a little Raj time. He is pure love.

Raj is usually by my side when I am reading or unwinding with some Netflix (my go-to favs are Jane The Virgin or Shrinking). My happy place is in bed with a book…I am always learning and sometimes I even read for enjoyment (I say sometimes because once I start I cannot stop!!!).

When I can persuade my kids to play a game, we love Scrabble (I usually win), Taboo, Chess (my son wins), or Scattergories. My hubs and I love a night out with great food, I am bit of a foodie. I love a good farm to table dinner. I do my best to keep my life simple, restful, and full of laughter…with a little bit of yoga and meditation.
